Alamein Ward Councillors attended the Alamein Community Association Fun day on Saturday on the Smannell Road open space.
Activities on offer included face painting, a bouncy castle, a smoothie bike and craft stalls all accompanied by a fantastic BBQ.
Cllr Phil North said:
"On our stand - Alamein Councillors were speaking to residents about community facilities. What they liked about living in the area, what would make it better and if they would like to get more involved in their community. We are constantly working to improve facilities in the area whilst encourgaing residents to get more involved and setup their own local groups. We will be following up with individuals we spoke to."
